Furuno B60-20, 20 Degree Tilted Element Transducer

Airmar B60 Housing Style Transducer. If a thru-hull flush-style transducer is called for, the Tilted Element 525T-LTD/20 is right for hulls with a deadrise angle of between 16 Degree and 24 Degree. This transducer compensates for deadrise by angling the element inside the housing. The transducer is labeled with an arrow on top of the housing that should point towards the keel, whether it is installed to port or starboard. This ensures that the tilted element within the housing is given the correct orientation.

The bronze B60-20 provide a vertical beam without a fairing. Inside the housing, the ceramic element is tilted to provide built-in deadrise compensation. The resulting vertical beam provides excellent echo returns for more accurate depth readings. The nearly flush housing minimizes drag with only 5 mm (3/16″) extending outside of the hull.
