Product description Dedicated autopilot control Our steering remote control provides intuitive control and a 1.7-inch display, which can be used to change heading, heading, rudder angle or autopilot mode at any position on the ship. Adding a remote control to the system can provide dedicated steering control for the fully integrated autonomous driving system, thereby complementing the touch screen controls on the multi-function display. The remote control can also enable autopilot control from multiple sites: ideal for the drivers seat and other dual-helmet settings. The intuitive follow-up joystick Simrad autopilot not only keeps your driving route, but also enables you to steer manually from any autopilot on the ship. FU80 provides intuitive follow-up steering, and its joystick can be rotated from the middle position to 70 degrees to port or starboard. When you move the joystick, the rudder will move to the corresponding angle. The joystick and rudder will remain in place until a new rudder angle is set. The commanded rudder angle is clearly displayed on the FU80’s integrated display and is indicated by the position of the joystick. Easy to install This wired remote control can be installed almost anywhere. The simple design allows flush mounting using the included accessories, or external mounting to a desktop or shelf using an optional mounting kit. The remote control connects the Simrad autopilot system to the existing network via the NMEA 2000 cable, thus providing a plug-and-play installation method without the need for complicated wiring.
